Hope everyone is doing well. This beloved Houston theater will be closing soon and I decided to create a farewell event.
Nomadland is a Protected content Neo-western drama film written, edited, and directed by Chloé Zhao.
Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern (Frances McDormand, Academy Award nominee for Best Actress) packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad.
Nomadland is also winner of Best Picture, Best Director and Best Cinematography at the Boston Society of Film Critics Awards; the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival; and the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. Nominated for 6 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress (McNormand), Best Director and Best Cinematography!
