Bristol Open Doors - Discover Your City!
Are you new to Bristol? Or have you lived in Bristol for a bit already and would love to find out more about the cultural heritage of the city and know more about its history? Then it's time to put those walking shoes on and join us for a tour of Bristol!
Many exciting places in Bristol are closed to the public during the year, but they are accessible once a year, in September, on Bristol Open Doors. We will discover lots of hidden gems around Queen Square, cross the river and explore the area around MShed, including a trip to the infamous Redcliffe Caves and climb to the top of St Mary Redcliffe Church. Depending on the energy and curiosity, we can then decide which direction the tour heads to...or just end it with a cold beer in a nice pub.
And....since any good tour starts with a happy stomach, let's meet at lunchtime close to Protected content , grab a bite to eat there and get the chance to check some of the venues nearby.
