Lets do it again - Chill out
This understated gem is one of Prenzlauer Berg’s most rewarding dining experiences, particularly for wine lovers. It was originally opened as a wine bar, and the food emerged as a supplement to the wine rather than vice versa. Its barrel lined dining rooms and well stocked wine shelf fill the whole place with atmosphere and charm, whilst the food is a back to basics celebration of German cuisine. Highlights include a ‘Brandenburg Plate’ which offers a delicious range of cold meats and the bacon made from Mangalitza pig, which goes perfectly with a light red vintage. For the full experience, get the pairing menu drawn up by owner Roy Metzdort, which shows off the best of German food and wine together. (theculturetrip)
