Stolpersteine in Cologne-Suedstadt, Tour & Stories (in German)
On the way through the historic quarter in the south of Cologne, we follow in the footsteps of a philologist, a Volksfrontkämpfer, a Jewish boxer and those of the rector Erich Klibansky, who saved Protected content from the Nazis. En passant we strip the history of the Jewish sports club Makkabi and that of the book burning at the University of Cologne. On our walk, the individual fates of the persecuted can be experienced in their social-spatial context and thus open windows to the history of the city of Cologne.
