The purpose of the concert is to take a stand against today’s war and through UNICEF, will help children in Ukraine. It is a coincidence that the works that will be performed at the concert belong to two great Russian composers, Rahmaninov and Prokofiev, and the soloist is Ukrainian Alexander Romanovksy, who is a great pianist. The concerts will include selections from Sergey Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suites and Sergey Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor.

In short, we say: “Come join us for the concert and tell them “Don’t fight, make music” because the only common language understood by all humanity is music, music is universal.”

We are planning to meet for dinner before the concert at 6 p.m. at Isokyo (inside Zorlu/Raffles) Isokyo has one of the best pan-Asian menu in Istanbul. So if you decide to come earlier, come join us.
