How to Cope with Change
“Life is governed by cycles, by change. Sometimes you are up. Sometimes you are down.” Master Choa Kok Sui
The one constant thing in life is change. That doesn't mean it is easy to get used to it or to embrace it.
Change is an unavoidable constant in our lives. Sometimes it’s within our control, but most often it’s not. Our jobs or roles change, our organizations undergo adjustments, the world undergoes ups and downs.
Often the hardest changes to understand and adjust to are the ones that are unexpected and out of our control – a recession, a global pandemic like what we are experiencing right now, or a major disaster, etc. Changes of this magnitude can be difficult to come to terms with, but you'll often find that your experience of them can be made better or worse depending on your reaction and your attitude.
Fortunately, there are ways to adapt to change, and even turn them around to be a blessing.
