Hi All!

It's Expo Latino time!!

*** See below for chance to win a free weekend pass***

Yes, the biggest latin festival in Western Canada is back for its 22nd year at Prince's Island Park from 6:30pm on Friday (tomorrow) for the full weekend. The event is ticketed on Saturday & Sunday, but Friday night is free, for a donation to the Food Bank, plus check out below for your chance to win a full weekend pass. If you're going to be heading over on any day, post here so others can find you.

I'll definitely be around on Friday night, but will be tied up with performances, so I've set this event for when I'm all done and can relax and hang out with you guys. I'll be moving around during the evening, but if you don't see me near the stage, check the beer gardens. It will be best to call or text me on my number included here to find out exactly where I am at a specific time. I will also try and check in here regularly to let you know where I am and see any messages posted.

For those that want to watch the dance school performances, I'll be on with BachataKiz Ladies and Indhira Castillo Ladies Team in the 7:15 slot and BachataKiz Couples in the 10:15pm slot tomorrow. I'll also be in the 4:15pm slot with Indhira Castillo Ladies Team on Saturday. If you will also be performing (Esther?) post here with details of when and who with so we can cheer for you.

I've been told that in past years, if you turned up for the zumba session at 12pm on Sat or Sun, you get a free day pass. Don't hold me to that though - I don't know if it applies this year.

***For the chance to win a free weekend pass, please respond to this post giving your favourite latin dance before noon tomorrow (Fri). I'll announce who's won after this. ****

* Bring a warm / waterproof layer in case it rains or gets cold - this festival is fully outdoors
* Don't forget your ID if you want to get in the beer garden
* Wear comfortable shoes. Although there will be some seating there won't be much. Also, ladies, don't wear thin heels - only a small area will be covered with a dance floor, the rest will be grass - don't get that sinking feeling!
* Bring some cash with you - last year there were some issues with the ATMs, so best to have another payment method handy, otherwise you may have a long walk to Eau Claire market.

Hope to see you there!

Don't forget to respond with your favourite latin dance before 12 noon tomorrow for your chance to win a free weekend pass.
