Ready to Join?

Dear Milan Weekend Explorers group,

to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the creation of Florence Hiking and Weekend group, we’ve arranged the first more-than-a-day event and spreading the word in the groups outside Florence.

The weekend hike is going to take place in a land of rare beauty, the wonderful Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park.
We’ll arrive there on Friday evening, leave our cars and walk about one hour to reach our cozy lodge, Rifugio Mariotti, on the shores of the amazing Lago Santo at about Protected content a.s.l.
We’ll have a good dinner, watch the stars and get prepared for the day after’s long hike!
On Saturday, a professional guide will join and let us discover the beauties of this place while we’ll walk up and down over the peaks and admire glorious views.
We expect to be back in the afternoon at our lodge, where we can enjoy the rest of the day sunbathing, reading a book, taking a nap, or simply doing nothing!
On Sunday, we’ll leave our Rifugio in the morning and have a shorter walk that will eventually take us back to the parking lot.
From there, we’ll drive back home in early afternoon, so to avoid the traffic of people returning from the sea.

Pls consider this as just a placeholder to start collecting subscriptions, full detailed info will follow next month.
