Hike & Concert by Lake Lugano
Given the favourable weather forecast, is anyone up for a Sunday hike over Lake Lugano, combined with some Beethoven/Chopin?
Plan is to go to Lugano for the 11:00 matinee recital at the LAC theatre, where pianist Elia Frittelli will perform Beethoven Sonata n.7, Chopin Scherzo n.1 and Prokofiev sonata n.7. It will be the first event of the "Hall in musica" season. As usual, entrance is free of charge and we can choose whether to listen to the concert from the stairs or from the hall.
Following the concert, let's have a hike across the chestnut woods west of Lugano, by following the philosopher trail from Agra to S.Bernardo and S.Maria. There will be plenty of lookout points over lake Lugano, along what is believed to be novelist/painter Hermann Hesse's favorite path.
