I'm inviting you to read the novel "Half of a yellow sun" by celebrated Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and meet for an interesting book discussion.
The novel tells the story of the Biafran War through the perspective of the characters Olanna, Ugwu, and Richard. Half of a Yellow Sun is a remarkable novel about moral responsibility, about the end of colonialism, about ethnic allegiances, about class and race—and the ways in which love can complicate them all.
This novel won the Orange Prize, and was a National Book Critics Circle Award Finalist and a New York Times Notable Book.
