Christmas French Chanson (song) workshop
This is an invitation to the 5th Chanson workshop in Protected content
for Tokyo Music Lovers members who are interested in singing a Christmas song and a French musical movie song with group in French.
The venue is a professional music room in a residence with a grand piano and karaoke facility.

Les Parapluies de Cherbourg (The Umbrellas of Cherbourg), composer Daniel Licari.
Minuit Chrétiens of Placide Cappeau, Adolphe Adam who is the composer of Ballet “ Gisele “.
The workshop lasts about 2 hours including 10 minutes break followed by a party time - great meals and wines, beers, sakes, soft drinks, dessert sometimes. Sorry, we can not accept only for the party time joiners.
The goal is to sing songs with beautiful French pronunciation, learning breath taking timing(Liaison) with group. Most of the past participants were not French speaker. There is a translator who explains of the French meanings of the song.
The music sheets in French language will be distributed at the entrance and we mostly use our ears & voice seeing the sheet, repeat listening to the pronunciation of the instructor and practicing to pronounce and song with rhythm.
There is a limit for the training time, so we may focus on the “refrain”. But the rest of song, you can continue practicing with youtube, etc so that you can complete singing the entire song at home.
Participation fee: 2,000yen including lesson charge, meals, drinks

16:00 Workshop starts
Introduction of the workshop history, music history, instructor, participants name
Break time will be decided by the instructor for 10 min
after 18:00 Move to the Party room
Delicous meals(this time, the owner will come back from Italy&Spain&Switzerland, prepare Raclette,etc-If you go to a restaurent, it will be expensive!) drinks: Wines (red&white), Beers, Tea and Juice, etc
20:00 Closing but the party continues, you can stay if you have time
