The winner of “International Rachmaninoff Competition for young pianists, Protected content , Asaka Miyoshi (Student, Tokyo University of Art 東京藝大) will play Rachmaninoff Piano concerto No 3 with Aurora (Оркестр) Orchestra – amateur group. The piece is well known as one of the most challenging works for both pianist and orchestra.

Aurora Orchestra celebrated their 10th year anniversary regular concert in this May. Last 10 years, their programs had been always covering Russian composers’ pieces exclusively. They are the “Only One” amateur orchestra in Tokyo that has performed “Rachmaninoff complete Symphonies”. As their first step forward after the ceremonious concert, not Russian Composer but Brahms!
