Beyoğlu Art Walk
Dear friends,
Join us this Saturday, October 11, for an inspiring afternoon walk through Beyoğlu’s art-filled streets. We’ll meet at Protected content from Taksim to Tünel.
We’ll begin at the Institut Français, where Alice Pallot’s “Cursed Algae” reveals haunting underwater worlds shaped by nature and human traces.
Next, the İstiklal Art Gallery brings together striking international photography capturing light, rhythm, and everyday emotion.
At the Surp Yerrortutyun Church, Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu’s “Modules for the Monument of the Unknown Student” invites quiet reflection in a sacred space.
After a lunch break in Asmalımescit, we’ll continue to Öktem Aykut & MeshRu, Selim Birsel and Kezban Arca Batıbeki explore politics, memory, and imagination in perfect contrast.
Our walk concludes at Casa Botter, where Burhan Uygur’s “Solo Botter” fills the elegant Art Nouveau halls with color and dreamlike beauty.
A perfect Saturday of art, discovery, and friendship. Bring curiosity, good energy, and let Beyoğlu do the rest.
Warmly,
