Ready to Join?

Join me for an evening in the art of duelling, in this case, the art of épée fencing.

I have a weak spot for a musketeer, chivalry and fencing and can't wait to try it out and romanticise my moment. In my head, I already look like a cool musketeer. ;)

*We have an instructor for 1,5 hrs. Be there 15 minutes before the lesson to have time to change clothes. We fence between 18. Protected content .
*Bring long training trousers and indoor trainers.
*Bring a towel if you want to take a shower after the practice.
*We will be provided with a jacket, gloves, mask, fencing sword etc. from the club.
*The fee is Protected content . We pay at the club.

Fun facts:
Fencing today uses three different weapons: foil, épée and sabre. All three have their roots, like the sport itself, in the art of duelling and the sword fighting tradition of medieval Europe. Fencing is believed to have originated in Spain. And Alexandre Dumas wrote Les Trois Mousquetaires in Protected content .

I hope to see you at this very cultural activity.
