After braving the scorching heat at our last events at locations outside the city centre this outing will be a hidden gem just next to BTS Asoke.

It is hard to believe that somewhere as calm and green as Protected content

The setting of this renovated teak house feels more like the northern Thai village it originated in rather than the middle of a concrete jungle.

The artifacts are well displayed and include a rice granary, a selection of tools and an original loom used to weave silk. There is also a fascinating display of charms and trinkets that describe Thai beliefs regarding the supernatural, and everything in this museum is carefully annotated which helps you get a better understanding of Thai history.

If you enjoyed Jim Thompson’s house and want to see the rural version of Thai living Protected content ago, this is the place to come.
We will meet at 10.30 at the Protected content

and then move over to the museum,
Afterwards we can decide where to go for lunch together.
