Francigena path - From San Miniato to Gambassi Terme
We open the new walking season with one of the most panoramic stages of the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrim's path to Rome.
From the historic town of San Miniato to Gambassi Terme, we will walk along the hills that protect the course of the Elsa river.
We'll meet at the rail station of Empoli, and from there we'll move with our cars to the Convento of S. Francesco, our starting point.
The walk will take up to 8 hours, including the 3 stops.
We are going back to Empoli by train.

Difficulty: Experience in hiking is required
