CANCELLED Exclusive Guided Tour at UNESCO Messel Pit Fossil Site
Dear art Lover,
I am glad for our next event to propose you a unique experience:
An Exclusive Guided Tour in English for Internations at the UNESCO Messel Pit Fossil Site near Darmstadt.
During this one hour tour we will visit the UNESCO pit while learning more about the fossils from Messel Pit, volcanism, industrial history. Do not miss this opportunity: you will have the chance to get some original 48 million year old fossils into your hands, so you can have a closer look.
After the guided tour we will visit the exhibition with the seven different theme rooms: there are multimedia representations, fossils including a miniature horse, a drilling core and volcanic rocks.
After the tour tour we can enjoy a drink in the surroundings!
For this activity I am asked a fixed price for the group independently of the number of participants. As we had some bad experience in the past with no-show or last minute cancellation I would ask everyone to pay me in advance. Once you confirmed your participation I will send you my bank details, and your participation will only be validated once I get the payment.
To go to the Messel we could arrange some car pools for those interested (for those going by car please confirm me if you can transport other people).
Otherwise by public transport here is the itinerary:
- Protected content from Maiz Hbf by train to Messel Bahnof (RB Protected content 11: Protected content walking to the Messel
