Let´s talk about Roman gravestones: A guided tour with Florine in English.
The collection of original Roman gravestones at the Landesmuseum Mainz is famous for many reasons. First of all, it is the most extensive collection of such artefacts in the entire region. It includes many other architectural fragments from Mainz and its surroundings. We can learn a lot about the Roman past and the multicultural Roman life.
My dear colleague from the Landesmuseum, the archaeologist Florine Jäger, will be part of our visit to the Steinhalle (German: Hall of Roman gravestones). First, Florine will give us a short overview in English on this topic Protected content . Afterwards, we will have a discussion. Won't be shy. Ask your questions:-)
