Let´s bake artisanal "Pan de Muertos"💀, and celebrate one of the most iconic traditions in Mexico "Dia de Muertos". ⭐⭐⭐ "Have fun, meet new people 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 and begin seducing learning new skills in the kitchen! ♥️♥️♥️
In this cooking class, Chef Zulima, with easy steps will show us how to make ARTISANAL PAN DE MUERTO (day of the dead bread). 💀☠ FILLED WITH CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

💀The Day of the dead bread is prepared all around Mexico in the last days of October and the first days of November.
This Mexican bread is eaten on Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) which is held for two days in Mexico. November 1st and 2nd is when those who have departed have a license to come back and visit the people they have left behind, it symbolizes a fraternal offering to the souls.
Day of the dead bread, is one of the elements used in the altars set to honor the souls during the Day of the dead celebrations.
In Mexico the bread used for the Day of the Dead Altars is different in every region of the country.
Pan de Muerto as a round shaped loave with decorations is usually the one we find in Mexico City, it has a ball and four to eight sticks made of strips of dough rolled out and attached on the top of the loave which resemble human bones; it's flavored with orange blossom water and covered with sugar or sesame seeds. It resembles a french brioche in texture.
Chef Zulima will use organic ingredients to bake this artisanal bread. The starter (masa madre) will be made the day before to include it to final mixture and kneaded the day of the class.
