High Mountain Course: Level 1
The goal of this activity is to achieve the Summit of the third highest mountain in Mexico: Iztaccihuatl.
Requirements for High Mountain Climbing:
• Protected content
• Good Physical Condition
• Acclimatization at high altitude
• Special gear and equipment

In order to train we will start with increasing our physical condition and test our ability to acclimatize at high altitude.
During this phase we’ll hike frequently in mountains over 3,000 and 5,000 high, among them:
• Xitle Volcano Protected content
• Ajusco Volcano: Arenales ( Protected content )
• Ajusco Volcano: Cruz del Marqués ( Protected content )
• Ajusco Volcano: Valle del Tezontle ( Protected content )
• Malinche ( Protected content )
• Nevado de Toluca ( Protected content )
• Iztaccihuatl base camp ( Protected content )
• Iztaccihuatl Top ( Protected content )
For this phase, we need basic equipment: Hiking boots, backpack 15 and 60 lt, camelBak, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, merino wool socks, long sleeve t shirt, trekking pants, polar fleece jacket, light down jacket, waterproof jacket, waterproof pants, gloves, wool hat, buff, headlamp, outdoor cookware camping set, thermos, sunglasses, sunscreen, plenty of water, meal and snacks, and trekking poles (if you use).
Equipment included: helmet, ice ax, crampons, climbing descenders, ropes, carabiners, harness, top rope anchors, camping tent, stoves and first aid box.

LEVEL 1 COST: $6,900.00
Include theorical classes, guide fee, professional photoshooting and equipment for 8 days (4 weekends). FOOD AND TRANSPORT is not included.
