Rome and its Talking Statues
Ciao a tutti!
Have you ever heard about the “talking statues” of Rome? They are quite famous among Roman people, who have used them since the 16th century to criticize or shared their dissent against the public authorities and the Pope. The most famous statue is named Pasquino.
The event will take place in an art gallery, where a roman artist, Claudio Fiorentini, will introduce us this popular tradition and where we will have the chance to watch parts of some movies on that theme (“Nell’anno del Signore”, “Il Pasquino”). The performance will be in Italian language.
At the end of the evening we will have an aperitivo (prosecco and focaccia), which is included in the ticket price (8 eur).
