Tsikoudia party or cretan food, drink, music, dance festival.
The cauldrons are made in the "cauldrons", the distilleries that are scattered in the countryside in the wine-producing regions of Crete island. Typically, the process of producing raki is accompanied by a small feast, with food, wine and, of course, plenty of raki, as the one who is "burning" invites his company to celebrate the event.
This process is considered particularly important since raki or tsikoudia are an integral part of Cretan culture.
