Greek Independence Day Live Street Band Concert!

Banda Entopica live in Suburbia
March 25th Greek independence day, we eat cod and party with Banda Entopica!
Banda Entopica, the traditional Thessaloniki-based street band, combines clarinet, saxophone, accordion, and drum in a mix of traditional and modern Balkan music.
Based on the sounds of Macedonia, Thrace, Epirus, and the entire Balkan Peninsula, it moves in dance and often ecstatic rhythms with traditional songs and original compositions.
The band started its journey from the streets of Thessaloniki, while later a number of appearances were added in music venues of the city as well as in big festivals.
In an environment with tradition being an integral part of everyday life - either as a song or as a dance - every live performance of the band has a dynamic dimension with intense interaction of musicians and listeners while maintaining a distinct aesthetic proposal.
Traditional music works highly Dionysian and gives the world the opportunity to externalize the emotions that it so desperately needs.
The concert starts at 15 pm if you want to go earlier. Due to work I cannot be there earlier so if you come earlier we meet there.
