Glass, that wonder, part 2. Open house at glass art studio
We visited a top Dutch glass studio in February – here’s a second, and possibly last, chance to see the studio. They’re planning to move to a smaller location by the end of the year.
So the doors are opening yet again!
The studio does both new work and restoration work, in public buildings and private homes - mostly painted stained glass but also other techniques. You'll see how glass art is made from an idea through design to construction, and get an appreciation for the craftsmanship involved. It is not your neighborhood glass studio and it is not normally open to the public!
Want to fill in your art collection with original Dutch stained glass? The studio is cleaning up and clearing out!
This time the showroom will be filled with more than 40 stained glass panels for sale, everything from small medallions to large, complex painted pieces.
FYI: public transportation does not come to this location on weekends.
