Walking Around the Beautiful Thong Nhat park, Outdoor Activities

To make the park more convenient for the community, fences were removed and there is a new walking street.

There are outdoor Western dancing spots (Salsa, Ballroom, Zumbar,...) and outdoor food festivals during weekends.

~17h Protected content Meeting point 1 at 67 Le Thanh Nghi street, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi, free parking at the Iris Home School inside. Then walking to the park.

"Thong Nhat Park has been a green lung of Hanoi for more than 50 years which was erected in Protected content . Besides its main function to satisfy the Hanoi people’s demand for entertainment, the park covers a will to unify Vietnam at that time, as its name means “reunification”.

Although Thong Nhat Park is relatively small compared to other botanical parks in the world, its total area of 50ha provides an excellent playground as well as a training place for physical exercises and sports of the locals. Hence, strolling around and sightseeing its landscape while breathing its fresh air should be a good idea. Encompassing the park is a vast area of lush grasses, high trees, and colorful flowers. Thong Nhat Park is especially crowded during summer with people coming there to avoid the heat.

Inside Thong Nhat Park lies a seven hectares lake called “Bay Mau Lake” where people enhance their health by sailing swan boats and taking in a cooling breeze."
