Canakkale Trip - CANCELLED!

March 18th is a very important date for us Turks. It is the anniversary of our most famous battle, the Dardanelles battle.

While the battle was an incredible victory on our part, there were a lot of casulties on all parties involved, Turks and many nations. Ataturk has called all of the dead soldiers "sons of this nation" after giving their lives on this battlefield. No need to say, this time of year is not only a patriotic season for us, but a rather solemn period.

I have planned a trip to Canakkale to visit such heroic destinations with an English speaking guide. There will be a bus that will drive us. We will spend one night at a hotel.

I have made arrangements with a tourism agency to cut down on costs. I will soon share with you details such as the program and costs.
