Art Shanty Projects: PLAN BEACH!
Due to rapidly deteriorating ice on Bdé Umáŋ / Lake Harriet, Art Shanty Projects’ annual program will be presented as “Plan Beach” this year instead of "On-Ice.” The festival will take place on land along the lakefront, in Bandshell Park, and in the picnic grounds.
For those driving to the event, there is a small paid parking lot on the northwest side of the lake (“Bandshell Lot”), as well as free street parking spots around the parkway that circles the lake.
Hot food and beverage vendors are situated near the Bread & Pickle building (B&P is closed for winter). Enjoy lakeside dining at the picnic tables on the patio!
Event is FREE! Suggested donation: $ Protected content . Please offer an amount that is meaningful to you. No one is turned away! All are welcome. Cash is fastest and easiest. Cards and ApplePay work, too.

11:30, 12:30, 1:30: Subzero Singalong: Community Sing on Ice with Good Trouble @ the Oasis
Noon & 2: Klezmer on Ice @ Booom Box
12:30pm: Wearable ArtCars & Contraptions Parade – roving
12:30 – 3:30: Ripple – interspersed – find it somewhere new in the village today!
1pm: fro-gahhh: yoga for the planet and the people – @ the Lagoon
1-3pm: Climate Walk on Ice – roving
3pm: Climate Walk on Ice action @ Performance Stage
