I have been listening to this song since it was released until it became an oldie. Hm, the speed of obsolescence nowadays. It always reminded me of a lazy summer afternoon eating cherry plums plucked directly from the tree. There was this nice boy around, I still remember his name. A new season, a new smile, a new experience and the song triggers a different memory, another scent, a different color. It’s the re-written biography of a memory.
The interesting thing is that any memory you share, is of autobiographical nature. When you loan a memory to a character in your story, you confide in your reader with a piece of yourself.
