Nathan Mierdl was born in Frankfurt in Protected content . At the age of five he discovered his love for the violin. He studied in his hometown, then in Dijon, Boulogne-Billancourt and Paris. In Protected content , he obtained his concert master’s degree in Roland Daugareil’s class at the CNSM.
His passion for chamber music inspired him to create the Gaïa Quartet. At the age of 19 he was able to obtain a position as a “tutti” violinist with the Orchestre national de France. Protected content so far his most successful year: He won no less than four awards at the prestigious Menuhin Competition and was lent a magnificent Protected content .
Together with Akane Matsumura on the piano Nathan Mierdl will play
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Violin Sonata No. 8 in G Major, Op. 30 No. 3,
- Ludwig van Beethoven's Violin Sonata No. 8 in G Major, Op. 30 No. 3 and
- Richard Strauss' Violin Sonata in E-flat Major, Op. 18.
