Living legend of the drums, Steve Gadd is one of the most admired drummers in the world. Chick Corea said of him: “all the drummers want to play like Gadd because he reaches perfection”. In addition to being the leader of his own band, he is one of the most coveted session drummers in the world and has immortalized his art in recordings for Simon and Garfunkel, Steely Dan, James Taylor, Joe Cocker, Grover Washington Jr., Chick Corea, Lee Ritenour, Frank Sinatra, Al Jarreau, Eric Clapton, Chet Baker, Michel Petrucciani, The Bee Gees, Michael McDonald and many others.
It is a great opportunity for all jazz lovers to enjoy in Jazz San Javier one of the best drummers in the history of Jazz, who has also just won the Protected content Award for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, for his recent album “Steve Gadd Band”.
