Dia De Muertos: FANDANGO De Son Jarocho
As part of the Celebration of Dia de Muertos, Tas D'os Collectif and Centre Culturel Bruegel, every year, organize one whole week of activities related to this Mexican tradition. I'll post in the bottom the link for their whole program.

Son Jarocho is a vibrant musical style that originated in the Caribbean region, particularly in the southern part of Veracruz (Sotavento). Traditionally, Son Jarocho is closely tied to the lively rural celebration known as fandango, where musicians, dancers, singers, and community members come together in the village square. Everyone gathers around the tarima, a wooden platform where couples showcase the zapateado (traditional Mexican tap dancing).
All jaraneros and jaraneras, from near and far, are warmly invited, along with other amateur or professional musicians with their instruments. The most important thing is to join in and immerse yourself in the music!
Let's go and be part of this joyful celebration and share the rhythm and spirit of Son Jarocho with me.
I can't wait to see you there!
