Krimml Waterfalls, with a total height of Protected content , is the highest in Austria. It is about Protected content 2.5 hour drive one way from Munich depending on traffic condition.

The drive there will take us through a tourist scenic road, the Gerlos Alpine Road, where we could stop along the way to enjoy the view.

The hike up from the bottom to the top of the waterfall is paved all the way, therefore comfortable running shoes should be fine.

Once we get to the top, we will walk on a relatively flat terrain to get to the Krimmler Achental; A long stretch of meadow where your will see the mountains.

We will take a break at Krimmler-Tauernhaus where we would decide the next plan according to the time and condition.

€ 9.50/ car for entry to the Gerlos Alpine Road
