These traditional local festivals organised by the local clubs are part of authentic live outside of Haidhausen and Glockenbach.
Well, in the meantime many Munich people go there....because it's really great.
It is still a very different atmosphere and it will be an unforgetable experience.

We go by train to Tegernsee and make a hike with detour over Galaun Alm/Riedersteiner Kapelle (ca. 3h easy) to the event location.
So the first beer or water tastes double or even three times better 😉

Train leaves 10:03 from Munich arrival in Tegernsee 11:09. There we meet all.
Around 15:00 we reach the Waldfest and spend a wonderful afternoon there.
We can take a train back in the evening every hour.

Walk back directly to the station Tegernsee takes 1,5h (depending of the number of beers...). Buses are operating too 😉😉😉

In best mood and with a lot of fresh air the day fades out with an amazing sunset over the lake.
In the train you can sleep 😉
