Menengai Crater Nature Walk and Buffet Lunch
Menengai Crater is Kenya's largest Caldera, it is an extinct volcano, 8km north of Nakuru. The summit is 2,300 m above sea level.Menengai crater has been volcanically active until relatively recently as fresh lava flow could be observed in Protected content . The crater, covers an area of 90 sq. km, 12 km in diameter and Protected content deep.
Located on the northern side of Nakuru is the single largest surviving volcanic crater in the world. The Menengai Crater is an extinct volcano that offers striking views of Lake Nakuru, Lake Bogoria and the crater itself.
The nature walk duration will take around Protected content . We will start the walk from the Menengai Crater viewpoint and then go around the crater rim and back to the view point.
