La Mandria Castle & Park
A guided tour in English of the Castle of La Mandria, one of the residences of the Savoy family, UNESCO site since Protected content .
An amazing hidden treasure built between the 18th and the 19th century, where the first king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II, lived part of his private life with his lover, the "Bela Rosìn" (the beautiful Rosina).
This castle is located in the park of "La Mandria", one of the biggest parks of Piedmont, very close to the famous "Reggia di Venaria Reale".
We meet on the Protected content
At 16:00h we're free to do a walk through the park and to enjoy an aperitivo.
This place is reachable with the car, there is parking just before the entrance and the "ponte verde".
In the alternative, you can use from the city center the bus "Venaria Express" from Piazza Castello or Porta Susa.
