Scenic Surrey Hills - 17 miles (27.5km) Challenging.

Denbies-Ranmore Common-Polesden Lacey-Boxhill. - A variety of scenery.
From Dorking station to Denbies Wine Estate and through Ranmore Common. From there to Polesdon Lacey, an Edwardian house and estate located close to Great Bookham, Surrey. Polesdon Lacey is owned and run by the National Trust and is one of the Trust's most popular attractions.
We will then go to Fetcham Downs and Norbury Park. We will end up at the top of Boxhill with glorious southerly views over the magnificent Surrey countryside and from there go downhill to the banks of the River Mole and the stepping stones.
We will be walking the Surrey Hills with beautiful scenery. (Fast pace)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This is a challenging hike with 4 steep hills. To do this, you need to be reasonable fit and can keep up a good pace. Please do not RSVP if you are unfit.
Drivers: You can park free on Chichester road which is opposite the station off the A24 or at the station, where there is a large pay and display car park.
Trains:
Depart: From London Waterloo. You can also join this train at Vauxhall, Clapham Junction and Wimbledon.
