When the opening line of a book goes thus "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife" you know then that the trip to Protected content British Regency would be nothing short of riveting, humorous and greatly entertaining.
For October we take a dive into Jane Austen' depiction of Class, Wealth, Marriage and Self Discovery in Pride & Prejudice.
The novel which has been voted multiple times as Britain's most loved book, ensures you do more than take a peak at the English dictionary.
It also indulges you to employ an individualistic perspective aimed at understanding the inherent bourgeois value system and the authoritarian hierarchy retained from traditional, paternalistic societies.
