Mo Baala Art Exhibition

Mo Baala was born in Protected content Casablanca.

Multidisciplinary artist, it is in the heart of the souks of Taroudant, his city of heart, that he grows up. He draws most of his artistic and creative education from traditional arts and crafts from Morocco, Africa and elsewhere.

His passions for reading, cinema, music and philosophy will also fuel his creative universe. Essential encounters and the internet also played a crucial role in his artistic education. Sources of inspiration just as eclectic as the form his work takes.

Mo Baala never specialized in one art form. He goes from drawing to painting, passing through collages, sculpture or even graffiti. He also creates installations hosting his musical performances. He also explores the photographic medium, street art and action painting. Recycling, textiles, music and lyricism have an essential place in his creations.

His works have entered numerous public and private collections, notably that of the Alliances Foundation (Morocco), the Nubuke Foundation (Ghana).

Mo Baala lives and works between Marrakech and Taroudant.
