Hiking Weekend in Iguaque!
Iguaque Lagoon is one of the mythical centers of the world. This legend Bachué "Good Woman" Mother Goddess of the Muiscas follows.

Variety of flora, fauna and abundant streams that are born in the mountainous part of the Sanctuary. Páramo eight lagoons. Because of its varied climate, soils and vegetation has different conformation. Is varied fauna includes species such as Faras, fruit bats, squirrels, deer soche, white, Reinoso and moorland.
Sanctuary animal species belong to the Andean flora and fauna wilderness. Intervened in some little areas, you can find wildlife like Faras, fruit bats, squirrels, armadillos, wild rabbits, guinea pigs, borugos, foxes and deer. Among birds stand skylarks, partridges, turkeys, green toucans, tanagers, ducks, hummingbirds, buglers and occasionally migratory caicas North America and some endemic species.
In forests, the main species are oak, frailejón, gaque seven hides, cannelloni, Tobo, red, hayuelo pine, pine romerón, encenillo, mosses, lichens, quiches, orchids and ferns. They stand on the moor frailejones, the scrublands and mortiño.
There is a camping area in the field of Carrizal (3,250 m asl). There is also the visitor center Furachiogua with 40 seats and a restaurant.
On Saturday We will depart from Bogotá in our own cars two have 2 nights of Camping in the parK.
On second day We will have an 8 hours HIKING to the highest lagoon of the parK, from 2.800 to Protected content . To return in the night to Our camping Station.
On Monday We Will enjoy the day in our campament and We"ll prepare Our return.
This Is a hight mountain plan, with low temperatures and Long and hard hiking...

WHAT DO YOU NEED
-Camp equipment suitable for cold weather.
-Warm clothes and appropiate shoes.
-Bring your own food and drinks.
-Don't forget to not leave trash and not contaminate creeks and ponds.
- Transport fee, Park entrance, 2 camping nights.
