Walking from Vilvoorde to Grimbergen (Basiliekroute)
A beautiful day in nature is waiting for us ! We'll meet on Saturday the 28th of May, Protected content . Then we'll take one of the many trains to Vilvoorde. At Vilvoorde, we'll visit the Basiliek. Then we'll walk through Hanssenpark. After crossing the Vilvoorde Viaduct, and admiring the view, we'll have a long walk through the amazing Drie Fonteinen Park, then Tangebeekbos. The walk ends in "De Herberg van Grimbergen", where we'll have a decent lunch and, if people wish so, of course a good local beer (for prices, check the menu). After that, we can go to the beautiful Prinsenbos. The walk is approximately 9 km, and very easy !
