Sunday Afternoon Hike to North Bull Island
Sunday Hike to North Bull Island, Dublin.
Lovely 5 km walk back along Dollymount Strand (North Bull Island) with stunning views on the Dublin Mountains, Poolbeg, Howth and Dun Laoghaire. The island is also a paradise for migrating birds ... and only 20 minutes away from the city centre of Dublin.
Effort: easy, about 10km, flat terrain.
Meeting point : 2.00 pm at Protected content
As I do not have a car I will wait for those who want to join me in the city centre at 1.15 p.m., bus no Protected content , right in front of the National Lottery Head Quaters on Abbey street lower.
Bus stop at the meeting point is just 20 meters after the wood bridge.
Limited street parking near the wood bridge and limited parking space on the other end of the bridge.
There is a public car park on the coastal road coming from the city center, directly across the dublin bus depot and before arriving at the wood bridge Protected content walk from the meeting point)
What to bring:
Bottle of water
Snack/Lunch (no shops on the Island)
