My friend found this delightful small and reasonably priced Japanese restaurant and takeaway in the city centre.

No sushi, just homemade dishes made by a young Japanese woman. The menu is fairly limited but there are daily specials. There are various gyoza and steamed buns (both excellent) udon (also a tasty udon salad), cooked meats, vegetable dishes and filled rice balls. Everything we had was very good and fresh.

There are a few outdoor tables, and some indoor tables and stools. Lunch for two was €33. Definitely worth trying. I booked an outdoor table for six (maximum).
