Come and experience with us this extraordinary collection of very early travel photos of Egypt and of America from Protected content . The exhibition is held at the only remaining intact, neo-renaissance photographic studiohouse in Europe, built in Protected content .

Egypt at the time of Flaubert
The exhibition focuses on photographs taken between Protected content 1860, at the time of Gustave Flaubert‘s journeys to Egypt. On display are 42 museum-grade copies of works.*
Pál Rosti: Travel notes from America
’In Protected content young, now forgotten Hungarian aristocrat, Pál Rosti, set out on an expedition to extend and refine the available knowledge of geography. The young explorer visited Cuba, Venezuela and Mexico, taking photographs and collecting objects.’ *
The Exhibition Venue
’Built at the end of 19th century for the commission of Mai Manó ( Protected content ), Imperial and Royal Court Photographer, this special, eight-story neo-renaissance monument is unique in world architecture: we have no knowledge of any other intact turn-of-the-century studiohouse.’ *
