A Tale of Two Synagogues
Come and discover the fully restored Rumbach Synagogue, which only re-opened to the public in late Protected content , after many years of slumber. Find out why the Hungarian Jewish community commissioned this building, only one block away from the already existing Main Synagogue of Budapest, at Dohany street.

Get a glimps into the life of a Jewish family in Hungary from the 18th century to our times, through the Politzer family exhibition.
Our tour starts at the Protected content We will walk from there Protected content to the freshly restored Rumbach Synagogue, where our guide will help us discover this beautiful building inside and out.
We will need to go through security check. Please ensure you dont have any items that could be considered a threat or a veapon.
You need to pay CASH to our guide (4,000 Ft), as well as for the entry ticket to Rumbach Synagogue (3,000 Ft).
If you would like to join us for lunch afterwards, please set aside an other 90 minutes for that activity too.
NO vaccination card required. Mask needs to be worn indoors.
