Addis Irish Ball 16 March - tickets on sale now (Addis Ababa)

That time of year again: the ball will take place on 16th March from 19:30 in the Lalibela Ballroom of the Sheraton Hotel. Tickets on sale Fridays 22 February and 1 March Protected content at the Lime Tree in Kananches (beside Liquid Lounge) and Saturdays 23 February and 2 March 2-4pm at the Lime Tree on Bole Road (Boston Day Spa building).

Tickets cost 1,300birr and include dinner, drinks, Irish band, dj plus entry into a raffle to win prizes including two return flights to Europe courtesy of Lufthansa. All profits will go to two charities: Our Father’s Kitchen which provides nutritious meals for needy children in Addis Ababa, and the Spiritan Fathers’ project to help widows in the town of Arba Minch.

Tables can seat 10 or 12 persons and the menu choices (beef, chicken or fasting main course) must be picked out in advance when purchasing tickets. Attendees are encouraged to arrange with friends to purchase a table, to avoid disappointment later should it not prove possible to seat them together.
