My name is Carola Bodanowitz, I am born in Protected content Berlin and I play music since my early childhood. I graduated form university in Cultural pedagogic with a major in Music from Hildesheim Germany. I always were interested by different music instruments, but now since 12 years I have been specializing in playing the harp, which I learned by my self.Next to traditional music from different countries, also I play my own compositions and do improvisations, in which I mix different cultural influences.Music does not know cultural boarders. If I should have the honor, be allowed to play my music in foreign cultures, my matter of concern will be to tune into the different cultural surroundings and let so to speak, the breath of the public flow into the music in order to overcome cultural borders, mainly by means of the hearts: « from soul to soul ». I hope I will succeed in this.
Mon nom est Carola Bodanowitz, née en Protected content Berlin et je fais de la music depuis ma plus tendre enfance. J’ai obtenu ma formation supérieure à Hildeshein en Allemagne dans le domaine de la pédagogie culturelle avec comme domaine principale la musique.
Depuis toujours je me suis passionné pour les différents instruments de musique, mais depuis 12 ans je me suis spécialisée sur le jeu de harpe, que j’ai appris de façon autodidacte.
A cote de la musique traditionnelle issue diffèrent pays, je joue des pièces de ma propre composition et j’improvise également, improvisation dans laquelle différents influences culturelles se reflétés. La musique ne connaît pas de frontières culturelles. Si je devrai avoir l’honneur, de pouvoir jouer mon instrument dans un pays étranger, alors ma priorité sera de m’adapter a mon environnement et pour ainsi dire, laisser la respiration du publique influer sur la musique et ainsi de surmonter les frontières respectives, particulièrement dans les cœurs : « from soul to soul ». J’espère pouvoir y parvenir.
