Student traveling abroad (Al Ain)

Hello everyone!

Im a student from Boston, Mass and have a couple of questions for the UAE community.

What bank should I get in the States that gives me the most benefits abroad?
Where should I get a cell phone that is the most cost effective?

If anyone else has advice for a student traveling abroad for the first time I will accept any and all suggestions. Thanks!
