Things to do in Alger (Algiers)

Hello,
I hope that everybody had a good month of Ramadadhan.

At the beginning, when I moved to Algeria I was struggling with finding things to do over the week-end. So, now, I want to share with new and old expatriates some of the things and places that I enjoy here in Algiers.

On top of my list is the Centre Culturel Francais dAlger , because they organize many cultural events, very interesting film projections, concert - classic, jazz -, dance shows, a lot of things Protected content

I use, also, Protected content to find out what’s the buzz in town.

When it’s not that hot outside I enjoy a walk in Jardin d'Essai – the botanical garden.

Sport: Tennis – there are quite a lot of tennis courts in the city, and you can find a tennis coach very easy. I prefer the one in Sidi Fredji Protected content . I saw that there is also a pool club there Protected content
