Visiting for the first time from Monday for a week (Algiers)

Hi All,

I'm a British Photographer, based in Istanbul and will be in Algiers for the first time ever on a commercial photography assignment. I'll be staying the Sofitel Hamma Garden hotel.

I'd really appreciate any tips on places to visit, food to try.. anything and everything.. I'm adventurous and am really looking forward to seeing a new city.
