Any Australians moved to Spain? (Alicante)

My Husband and I are planning to move to Spain in Protected content , and we would appreciate suggestions, ideas and comments to help us along the way.

We have booked our fact-finding trip to Spain this December and January, and have booked 5 weeks of accommodation (1 week in each coastal area from Malaga to Barcelona). We are hoping to acclimatise ourselves and decide which area we would like to initially rent when we arrive there to live.

We are very excited about our new life adventure, and hope to hear from other Aussies and Brits living over there, as well as any other people who can offer any words of wisdom.
